First Edition Post

This blog is intended to be an alternative source for news and interviews. It is also meant to end the monopoly created by the Herald (aka the Daily Ogre). I will also allow editorials and interviews written by other citizens of the KOTW world.

It's nice to see the spirit of originality is alive and well.

That's sarcasm by the way.

I'm glad we have this unbiased news again. The daily orge is a LITTLE on the "Axis of Evil" side. :-) As someone who "hates" the Axis of Evil, I'm glad we have this sort of thing back! BTW, who saw the Daily Orge's poll? Not very many options for us good guys huh?

Clairer, I really don't think you understand sarcasm and I wonder if you have a sense of humour at all.

And what exactly defines the Axis of Evil? Who is this Axis of Evil? Do you even know what you're talking about?

And I beleive the poll reflects the fact the Daily Ogre is meant to be a tool of propaganda for the 'evil' King. Obviously it's going to be bias, it's the character of the piece.

And what makes YOU the good guys?

Claire said...

Those who resist the government are always the good guys, I mean look at famous movies like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, etc. The axis of evil would be Genesis, the Royal Drago and anyone who joins them. And yes I do know what I'm talking about. Different points of view mean that we both think the other is insane! :-)

Thanks for you word on my sarcasm! I'll have to work on that! Just guess I can't take jokes... ;-)

The 'Axis of Evil' is Genesis and the Royal Dragons?

So that isn't Gareth then is it seeing as he's at war with those alliances?

Evil is a subjective word anyway.

Famous movies which have the enemy of the Government as the 'bad guys' include the Die Hard trilogy, the Lethal Weapon trilogy, anything by John Grisham, Star Wars episode One and Two, the Lord of the Rings (depending on which Government you're thinking off).

Gareth was the government so he doesn't count.
Evil is subjective. It's sort of like how you were raised. I was raised in the resistance, so I think of the "government" as my enemy. It sounds like you were raised in the "government" so to you, my "family" seems evil. We're just ordinary people drawn on two different sides of the war.
I can't understand what you mean for the movies, 'cause I've never seen any of the ones you added to the list.
Anyway, what alliance are you a part of?
Sorry if I've offended anyone. Guess it's my "rebel" breeding!

You haven't offended me. I don't play in alliances, I go solo.

And I don't think you're evil Claire, which is kind of my point. Just because you don't agree with something doesn't make it evil. :)

I think 'evil' is far too easily used.

Claire said...

That's true. Evil is far to easily used. How about we rename the Axis of Evil to "The Axis of People-we-don't-agree-with!" That would be interesting. I like having these kinds of conversations. I guess it's the debater in me!

Yezno Azef said...

Yes, the Axis of People-We-Don't-Agree-With is a lot better. lol.

I enjoy this debate too. I'm going to get fired from work for spending my time here but it was worth it.

I like it! What's your rank. We can continue these debates (if you want to) on the walls.

lmao, "Axis of People-We-Don't-Agree-With" :D
